 2018 Preview 


       The Success Unlimited Mustangs will field a football team for the first time this fall. They will be led by head football coach Bill Granger as they prepare for their initial season on the gridiron.




       The Mustangs will be under the direction of new head football coach Bill Granger as they enter the 2018 season.

       Coach Granger's overall record as a head football coach in six season stands at 29-36 (44.6%). Over the course of his career, Coach Granger's teams have qualified for the playoffs a total of four times and won one region championship.

       The Success Unlimited Mustangs will play in Class AAA region two during the 2018 season. The Mustangs will have a difficult time competing in Class AAA with a young team in their initial season.

       Region two will be one of the most competitive regions in any classification this season. This season, the Mustangs will be a long shot for one of the four playoff spots in region two.

       The Mustangs open the 2018 season at home against non-region opponent Pickens Academy on Thursday, August 30 at True Devin Field. Last year the Pickens Academy Pirates finished with an overall record of 6-4 and in fifth place in Class AA region two. The Pirates ended last season on a positive note with a win over Kingwood Christian by a score of 60-0 after failing to gain a playoff spot.

       Success Unlimited and Pickens Academy have met a total of 2 times on the football field. The Mustangs have a 2-0-0 record against the Pirates. They last met in with
